Passports in the works...finally

We finally got our passports going. It was more of a pain in the butt scheduling a time to get everyone together to go to the post office than anything.

I just added two pictures of when we were silly one night at dinner and decided to tape our noses up to become the "Pig Family" It was pretty funny! We couldn't stop laughing!

Sue and I went to AAA yesterday and got books to read through to figure out where we might want to go and we were looking at the maps tonight. We think our first stop will be Niagra Falls then across to Canada. Even though it is still a few months away were are getting excited and very much looking forward to the trip!

Okay so I didn't get going on the whole passport thing but I have researched it. Or rather a couple of articles have been sent to me or cut out for me. Seems that, at this point in time anyway, the kids will simply need proof of citizenship (birth certificate). I will need either a passport or a passport card. I will most likely get the card as it is cheaper $45 as opposed to $100. The kids are slightly cheaper at $35 each. These should take about 3 weeks. Plenty of time for our July departure.

For anyone interested they need to go to www.travel.state-.gov and click on passports for U.S. Citizen.
