I've been wondering about passports since we are going to go north from here up into Canada for the first part of our trip. Luckily there was an article in the paper which Sue found telling exactly what we need to do. It sounds like the kids and I will need an i.d. card. Sue already has a passport. I will get moving on this tomorrow.

We keep tossing back and forth the places we would like to go. I would like to go to Quebec City. Sue has been there and she says it is a beautiful city. Very European. Clara would like to retrace the trip that her dad and his parents did back in the day. That would be pretty cool. Karl III just wants to go to all the DDs from here to California. Hmmm maybe we should ask for sponsorship from them! : )

We finally decided to go on vacation. Clara, Karl, myself and grandma aka Susan. We will be traveling accross the country to see as much as we can see for the entire month of July 2009 and we can't wait. As the time comes closer there will be more posts. For now we are in the planning stages and I will only post occasionaly....hope you enjoy.
